a pretty troll

So this morning I'm clicking around Blogovia (that's Max Sawicky's neologism) when I tripped over this pretty little poem in the comments on www.crooksandliars.com. (I did reformat it, as I believe its pseudonymous composer heard it in his mind's ear as he wrote.)

I was charmed! Oddly enough a lot of the other commenters didn't like it, i.e. they took it as a assault against themselves. Whereas, even putting aside its value as a work of art, if I were to judge this composition in strictly ideological terms, I'd read it as an indictment of the delusional self-image of a wholly deranged wing-nut. The Party Committee for Ideological Purity says, Da, comrade, this artwork should be disseminated to the masses at once! So without further adieu, I present, To any Republicans, by "rightwing nut":

To all Republicans reading this post;
we are actually dead.
You see, we did something very wrong while we lived
and now we reside in Hell.
The Devils we are tormented by
are called Democrats
which is short for Demoncrats.
They are here for the rest of eternity
unlike us that still have the chance
of being saved from the damnation
of liberlism.
We must keep our faith and atone
for our previous transgressions (like Nixon).
Democrats will always live here.
They are the liars and snakes.
They are the ones who oppress.
They are the ones who enslave people of color
by the welfare system and ignorance.
They are the devils
and tormentors
and cancers upon the Blue Planet.
They are the homosexuals
and child molestors
and animal fuckers.
They are the fat pigs
and thieves
and greedy Ferengi.
We are the ones
who shine the bright light of truth and life
upon the vampire Democrats.
They recoil in horror when presented the Truth.
With Virtue & Goodness on our side
we will prevail and once again
be lifted from the depths
of the Liberal Cesspool
of Democrats
and their Whore Leader,
Hillary.
